Hello, welcome to BeingRitesh.ME (that’s my personal blog of course). Since you are here at my personal space, let me introduce myself to you. I’m Ritesh Saini, I’m a 19 years old entrepreneur & blogger. Currently pursuing BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) from St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur. I am a very passionate and ambitious person especially about tech related stuff. I have a very rich experience in designing & development. I have been in an addiction for computers and tech stuff since I was a 13 years old child.
I’m a normal guy who strongly believes in “Live Laugh Love because YOLO (You Only Live Once)” Like a fish can’t live without water, I can’t live without Rock Music. I don’t know it’s a problem or not but I think it’s my hidden talent that’s no more hidden now lol I love watching WWE, I am a huge fan of “The Champ”, John Cena. I love travelling too. I’m in an open relationship with my laptop and proud of it
I live in Jaipur, Rajasthan that’s my birth place too. Ever since I can remember, I was extremely naughty. But I’ve improved a lot
I used to be a normal teenager, cartoons show lover, fantasy world believer, study hater (that I still am ) and a person with dynamic future aims but I was like this only until I touched that magical power known as “Internet”.
The reason behind why I chose to be a blogger is seriously very complicated. Sometimes, I myself try to figure out its answer but end up with multiple reasons.
Actually I was inspired by a seminar that I attended one day. Seminar was all about “How a student can make money with little knowledge or interest in web development”. Seminar was actually organizer’s way to increase their customers for the service they were promoting. I didn’t noticed what they were saying, but the one thing that my mind automatically focused on was “Make Money Online”. I think my mind and pocket could communicate that time because it was my pocket who wanted some extra weight out of my little pocket money and my mind heard it So after getting back to home I turned on my lappy and starting googling.
I always believed that I’m the most superior and most technically advanced person among all the people of my age but after hours of googling, I finally realised that I’m only a king of my own fantasy world. People worldwide are learning things about Web Development and utilizing them online to help others and making their living.
To be very frank, that time I had zero (0) knowledge about web development, blogging and all in comparison to I have right now. Still I’m not saying I’m perfect but yeah I can proudly say that I’ve grown a lot with the things I’ve learnt while walking on the path of Web development that apparently has no end. I’m a good learner and I’m very thankful to god for this gift. This quality helped me a lot in learning everything from scratch.
I started creating my own blog. As a normal tendency, Indians think twice before spending a single penny, I was also the same. I chose Blogger.com that is a free blogging and web development platform for aspired beginners. As it was free, I made so many websites in hope to get success in less time. I went into the back-end or coding part of my blogs and started messing up with the codes. My aim was to create an Elegant Website and start making money online. Just for the sake of it, I spent hours in writing and learning aspects of web development.
Meanwhile my concern over money gradually turned into an eager to learn more. I was like a horse wearing blinders and moving ahead with a hope of success no matter how much difficulty I’m facing for it.
After 6 months, the conclusion was that I made nothing. I had no website with even proper structure. If anybody asked me “Oh you develop websites, show me what you have done so far…!” then I couldn’t even show them anything. But… but the thing of satisfaction was that I learned lots of things about Web development, coding and most importantly what I’m lacking or what I still need to proceed further. The development spirit in me could not stop there.
I learnt so many things that one needs to set-up a blog using basic coding easily. But I wanted to grow, I wanted something better than just a blog. I wanted a CMS (Content Management System). As a CMS requires a domain, a hosting server and money obviously. I couldn’t afford all these things and secondly I didn’t knew anything about domains, their management, hosting and server configuration. I was so obsessed with learning the back-end part only so I never got to learn anything about CMS and their management.
So after thinking for almost a week, I finally registered my first domain mashinie.com. I added that domain to my temporary Blogger blog. Then I started studying about web hosting, CMS, WordPress and all. Finally after 2 months of research, I purchased a hosting account for my domain. Installed best CMS so far i.e. WordPress on it and migrated my whole content on it. That was the beginning of my new blogging journey. Because until now I was working casually with no fear to lose anything.
At a time I had to think twice before registering my first domain and current scene is that I have my own 3 Self-Hosted websites (not including sub-domains), and Co-Author of 2 other sites. All are performing well with good readers base.
What I’ve learnt so far:
Life is a continuous learning process. Don’t think even for a second that you are perfect because that will limit your learning potentials. Neither think that Blogging or Web Development is a very typical process. It’s not compulsory for you to have good knowledge of web designing and development to start blogging, all you need is the passion in you. Blogging requires a lot of hard work, dedication and little patience too. If you’re not doing well in the beginning then don’t lose hopes. Keep working-hard because time is the best teacher. Blog only to spread knowledge and love, not to tease or insult anyone.
Give more value to Quality of Content, not to Quantity. Respect Copyrights and especially your Readers. Don’t make your aim only to make money. I don’t care about the time I took to gain all the knowledge and experience that I have now, I always feel like a newbie and this is what that keeps me pushing forward to do more.
Blogging is about building relations so stay humble and friendly to everyone. Ego will take you back where you came from. Everyone of you is a born genius. All you need is just to recognize your God gifted potentials. Wishing you all a happy Blogging career.
